Blue Quill

A completely redefined, spacious, and cozy interior for a young family of four

Edmonton, AB
2026

The main floor of this detached home was renewed over the course of several months, providing improved functionality without compromising beauty and modernity. Earthy materials and tones were selected as a reflection of client values based in ecology and forestry, prominent industries in western Canada.

Sister sconces at the front and back door allude to the coming and going of a young and active family of four; whether work, swimming lessons, or backyard barbecues, this space was designed to optimize a busy and playful life.

Her work process is organized and intentional, and she did a wonderful job presenting clear renderings and drawings so we always knew what to expect. We would absolutely work with her again and highly recommend her.

We had a great experience working with Erin at Cave Studio on our kitchen and entryway renovation. She was responsive to our needs and generous with simple yet beautiful design ideas. Her work process is organized and intentional, and she did a wonderful job presenting clear renderings and drawings so we always knew what to expect. Erin worked seamlessly with our contractor and material suppliers and even coordinated with a local welder to bring our custom metal shelf to life. We would absolutely work with her again and highly recommend her. Thank you, Erin!
